On September 7th Charlotte Planning, Design & Development experimented with engaging the community differently. We tapped into an existing event, the South End First Friday Gallery Crawl and used an accessible City-owned facility to foster a high level engagement to raise awareness about the Comprehensive Plan. It featured:

​a narrative around the topic of making Charlotte a City of opportunity for all looking at growth and equity,
interactive and augmented reality maps and data, and
an exercise of thinking about who is currently not engaged and how might we be more inclusive in our engagement.
