Our goal for this plan is to adapt our engagement throughout the city to meet Charlotteans where they live and work and ensure they may be involved in the process of creating this important document. To achieve this, the Charlotte Future 2040 team has utilized many (over 25) types of community engagement including a variety of workshops, events, and presentations. These in person events have complimented our online engagement to help educate, inform, and promote the plan. As we move to phase 4 of this plan, we will continue adapting our engagement methods to provide opportunities to inform this plan and create an equitable path forward for Charlotte.\n\n[/cs_content_seo][/cs_element_layout_column][/cs_element_layout_row][/cs_element_section][cs_element_section _id=”27″ ][cs_element_layout_row _id=”28″ ][cs_element_layout_column _id=”29″ ][cs_element_headline _id=”30″ ][cs_content_seo]PHASE 4 \n\n[/cs_content_seo][cs_element_text _id=”31″ ][cs_content_seo]Our goal in Phase 4 is to continue to engage and inform the Charlotte community with an emphasis on unreached demographics despite the continued restrictions of COVID-19. 
Phase 4 started with the release of the draft Charlotte Future 2040 Comprehensive Plan at the Drive-In to Charlotte’s Future Community Workshop in October 2020. The Public Review Draft Plan reflects 500,000+ interactions with over 6,500+ voices through 40+ methods of engagement
